Months or even years of planning and anticipation goes into a wedding so its no wonder that when it finally arrives the old saying “it will be over in the blink of an eye” is pretty accurate.
So many times couples say after watching their wedding video just how much they had forgotten already because the whole day whizzed by in a blur of emotion and excitement.
As clichéd as it may sound, it truly is a once in a lifetime experience and one that you will not only want to relive yourselves, but share with friends, family and future generations as well and how better to do this, than with a professional wedding film.
Photo VS Video...
So many couples think they have to choose between having a great photographer or a great videographer, we say why not have both? Having fantastic photos is obviously important, but the medium does have its limitations. With video you can not only see your precious moments as they happened but hear them as well. The emotion in your voices as you said your vows to each other, the joy during the speeches and the romance and grace of your first dance as husband and wife. You can't completely capture these moments with a photo alone; yet at the same time you can't hang your video on your wall, so by having both you truly can document your wedding day in full.
So what about budget? Well consider this... Once all the food is eaten, your guests are gone and your flowers wilted, all you will have left to relive one of the most significant days of your life will be your video and your photos. If there is something that is of great importance to you, finding the means to get it is always possible if you really want it. You only get your wedding day once and one of the things you don’t want to be left with afterwards is regret.
Pricing
One of the first things people often ask me when enquiring about my service is price. Price is obviously important but I feel strongly that it shouldn't be the main navigator for your decision. Pricing for videography like most services varies greatly so you have to decide how much value you place on having a professional video and at what standard you want it to be.
At Chocolate Box Films I am not a " video factory" churning out "just another wedding video"; my aim is to go so much further in capturing your wedding and telling its story. I limit the number of bookings I take each year so I can dedicate a sufficient amount of time to each of my couples and their wedding film. I like to consider my service as an investment rather than an expense, and I hope you do to.

Packages
The following packages have been designed based on what you want covered, rather than by an hourly rate. That way you can get what you want without having to worry too much about watching the clock.
Packages start from $895 (ceremony only), with most couples investing around $2250 to $2900. A $400 deposit secures our services for your wedding date.
Hot Fudge
Coverage commences from guests arriving at the ceremony venue and continues through the day and full reception concluding with the bride and groom’s departure.
Tiramisu
Commences from guests arriving at the ceremony venue, continues through the day and full reception formalities concluding after some dancing and the tossing of the bouquet & garter
Rocky Road
Commences from guests arriving at the ceremony venue, continues through the day and full reception formalities concluding after the bridal waltz
Eclair
Our ceremony only package which commences from guests arriving at the ceremony venue and concludes once the bridal party depart.

Extras
Our standard packages have everything you need to create a stunning documentary of your special day. However, for those of you looking for something to make your wedding just that little bit more special, we have designed the following extras just for you.
Pre-Wedding Love Story
A pre-wedding love story is a great way for you to
capture and share your journey together so far. How you met, fell in love and of course the
proposal. They are created based on a concept we design with you and can be romantic, fun,
perhaps even a little silly. The main idea is to create something memorable for you to look back
on in years to come. We can even place it online for you to use as a “Save the Date” clip for your
intended wedding guests.
Wedding Highlights
Our signature and most popular extra. The main production is a documentary version of your wedding where the full ceremony and other formalities are left in full. The highlights however, are just that; the highlights of your wedding and they allow us to be a little more creative in telling your wedding story. Plus, we always edit the highlights first so you can watch them online whilst waiting for your main production to be completed.
Concept Video for Reception
Everyone wants a memorable wedding
reception and what could be more memoriable than having your own unique video to play for
your guests! We design a concept with you, film and edit it before your wedding and then play it
at your reception. Some popular concepts are a video love story like our pre-wedding films
mentioned above or something more fun like a movie spoof or gag reel, the options are limitless!
Package Inclusions
Our packages are priced on what you want covered rather than by an hourly rate.
> Two camera coverage for the ceremony and reception formalities is standard in all of our packages. We film in full high definition on our DSLR cameras.
> The final production or “Main Feature” preserves all these formalities in full so they are there to enjoy for years to come.
> Your DVD will be presented in one of our individually designed folios. No copy protection is placed on any of our productions
so you are free to make additional copies yourself if you wish to. We also offer digital delivery of our productions.
> Weddings within 50km of Wagga have travel costs inclusive. Travel outside this area does incur a travel and possibly an accommodation surcharge (depending on distance and package selection).
